Aker is from a species of beast long since extinct on the Amaravella planet. In fact, the Typhonic Beast’s existence is so illusory that many contest its validity. Only the learned shamans who practice the art of entering the Nostalgia Realm can testify to its existence. The Nostalgia Realm is a plane of existence layered invisibly upon the material world. It is said to contain traces of a time before. These past remnants or ‘ghosts’ can be accessed visually when a shaman eats certain herb or root medicines, however due to them being formulated from memory they are said to shift in form every time they are perceived. The creatures evolve over time through memory reshaping past.

Aker was said to be a lover of literature when he once roamed the Amaravellian plains, the legend being that he would literally eat words, digesting a meal of hermetic scripture with some palette cleansing poetry.

Aker’s body is made from green tapestry material. His head is sculpted in clay and cast from resin and painted in a wood-like texture. Green cord runs along Aker’s spine and he has claws fashioned from cocktail sticks. Aker wears a fur shawl and gold earring decorated with glass beads.
